Poor Polly Productions Launches as a Groundbreaking Film Studio

Dallas, TX - Poor Polly Productions (P3) has officially launched as a film production company dedicated to telling the untold stories of human struggle, sacrifice, and redemption, and to give a voice to those who often feel like they do not have one.
P3 is co-founded by by Todd Hartsell and Jeff LaGrone and was developed on the back of their deep friendship and thrives on a collective desire to collaborate and share creative ideas.
The founders, who have extensive knowledge and respect for film production, decided to start P3 with the goal of producing films that push the boundaries of conventional storytelling and spark meaningful conversations. They believe that great stories can have a transformative impact on the world, and are passionate about creating content that inspires.
"We're thrilled to launch Poor Polly Productions and bring our vision for thoughtful film-making to life," said Hartsell. "At P3, we believe that film is more than just entertainment – it's a powerful tool for storytelling and communication.”
P3 is starting off strong with its first film project, Jester. This film explores how to know oneself when you don’t know where you came from. This emotional existential drama, explores the essential elements of identity and self. Jester will be directed by Todd Hartsell and is currently in pre-production.
The Divebar Boombox Releases New Music Video for "Down the Road"

Dallas, Texas – The Divebar Boombox, a Texas-based band, has released a new music video for their song “Down the Road.” The video was produced by Poor Polly Productions and directed by Todd Hartsell.
“Down the Road” is a heart wrenching anthem about moving on from bad relationships. The song tells the story of struggles and infidelity in relationships and the determination to move on. The music video captures this perfectly, evoking raw and authentic feelings through its gritty style.
“We’re excited about the release of this new music video,” said Hartsell, who also does vocals and guitar for the band. “We think it’s a great representation of the song and the band. We put a lot of our hearts into this, and hope that it resonates with you.”
